Llev wasn’t dreamed up in a pitch deck. He grew out of two AI team members we built for ourselves — and couldn’t imagine working without.
The Lleverage team — Amsterdam
It started with Jeff
Our developers needed someone to answer the technical questions coming in from our forward-deployed engineers. So we built one. We called him Jeff. He read the docs, knew the codebase, and replied in Slack like any other engineer would.
Then he opened PRs
Jeff was good enough that we wondered if he could do more than answer. So we gave him a GitHub handle and a seat in Linear. He started triaging bugs, writing fixes, and opening pull requests — reviewed by the team like anyone else’s.
Then came Jill
Separately, one of our marketers had a Claude Code project doing real work. We wanted it to be multiplayer — to live in Slack where the team already talked, to connect securely to the tools she used, and to act on its own instead of waiting to be asked. That became Jill.
A tool became a team member
Jeff and Jill weren’t tools we opened and closed. They were colleagues — with handles, memory, and the run of the right systems. That realisation is Llev: not another window to a model, but an AI team member you hire into the team that needs one.
